We live in a town where there is literally a local Italian/pizza joint on every street corner and we drive 50 miles each way for Yolanda's deep dish pizza. Incredible. Wonderful. Order the deep dish briar hill and you can die a happy man. Now, it is not Chicago style deep dish, but just thick enought to earn the title, with that same kind of perfectly tender crust with just that hint of crispy on the bottom from the pan. Dammit! I just ate almost a whole pizza and I'm making myself hungry telling y'all about it. Mmmmmmm....
